Contrary to reports that hip-hop
artist Stefen Menson, aka J-Town claimed he makes more money from international shows than any
Ghanaian artist, the rapper and businessman has come out clarify his utterance
and has expressed disappointment in a section of the Ghanaian media for
misrepresenting his utterance.
According
to J-Town, what he said in interview was, many Ghanaian artistes come up with
excuses when they are called upon for collaborations, and such attitude gives
him the impression that those artistes are afraid their "shines" might be "stolen"
when they do songs with certain people.
The Channel O VJ added that his statement of making
more money than any Ghanaian act when he performs outside Ghana was
conditional.
"If it is the mentally of Ghanaian artistes not to work with other artistes, and I work with everyone, since I perform outside of Ghana, then that means I make more money than any other Ghanaian artiste because I'm not limiting myself just to one person." He explained.

The "Bad Gyal" crooner therefore urged the Ghanaian media to get their facts right before coming up with a story.
