Several days
after staying put in the Big Brother Africa house, Idris, 21, from Tanzania has
been crowned winner of the Big Brother Africa Hotshots Season 9 and the $300,
000 prize money.
He amassed
the highest number of votes to beat seven other finalists, JJ (Zimbabwe), Tayo
(Nigeria), Butterphly (Zimbabwe), Macky2 (Zambia), Sipe (Malawi), Nhlanhla
(South Africa) and Ghana’s M’am Bea to the title.
Idris, who
describes himself as ‘smart, charming, funny, flirty and creative, is a
photographer from Arusha in Tanzania.
According to
him, he was inspired to enter Big Brother Hotshots because he wanted to inspire
people and make a name for himself in the process. ‘I feel thrilled, excited
and accomplished, totally special’. He added.
Idris is
filled with positive energy. He admits to having a strategy, entering the
house.
