Regarding
the Kojo Nkansah- Wee promotion saga at the Ghana meet Naija at the Accra
International Conference Centre, it was alleged that Ghana's DJ Black, the official DJ for the event cut off Kojo
Nkansah’s performance, when he realised that things were not going in favour of
the crowd.

Black in an interview with Godfrey’s Entertainment Realm revealed that, he didn’t
cut off the comic actor’s performance, rather, it was the sound controller who
did it, but he DJ Black received instructions from the show director to alert
Kojo Nkansah that his time was up, so he just played some sound effects to alert
the comic actor.
In the process of DJ Black interrupting Kojo Nkansah Lil Win with the sound
effects, Kojo Nkansah made a comment like “Siaaaaaaaa” which is an insult in the
Ghanaian language meaning fool.
When
Black was asked by Godfrey on how he felt about the insult he received from Kojo Nkansah Lil
Win, he responded, “Yeah...the guy insulted me and I am surprised no one is
talking about it. They are just focusing on me cutting off his performance, but
whatever it is, I was just doing my job.”
He added that even at Grammys people
are alerted when they are exceeding their time.
