Hanson (Bulldog), manager of Shatta Wale and CEO of
Bull Haus entertainment, who has been charged for allegedly murdering Fennec
Okyere, a music producer, in an interview shared his experiences behind bars,
and plans to establish an NGO to support suspects who are detained in police
cells.
The NGO, which he plans to launch soon, will seek
to raise funds to provide basic needs for these suspects, who according to him,
are living in very deplorable conditions in the police cells.
According to him, “the police cells are tougher
unlike the prison which is an institution, so you get to be fed three times
daily, but the cells is different, if you don’t have anybody, nobody comes to
your aid”. He added that some inmates are not able to afford even a sachet of water.
Bull Dog was arrested for as a suspect for the
murder of Fennec Okyere, the late manager of Kwaw Kesse and released from
Police custody last Thursday.
However, he appeared in court today and his case
has been adjourned to 30th June 2014.
