In a
recent interview with the Chief operating officer of Exclusive Event Ghana, organizers of the Miss Ghana pageant Show, Samuel Bokovi, he explained to the Maxx Entertainment Crew that Guissepina resigned from her
position as the Miss Ghana 2013 ambassador because probably she found the task
overwhelming. Therefore the organization is
organizing an event to select a representative for Ghana at this year’s Miss
World Contest since all the three winners of Miss Ghana 2013 have resigned.
However, information
reaching the Maxx Entertainment Crew indicates that Miss Ghana 2013 winner,
Guissepina Baafi has decided to take legal actions against Exclusive Events
Ghana. And she also intends to go
for an injunction against the organization to prohibit them from searching for a
new Queen which will halt Ghana’s participation in the 2014 Miss World
competition.
According
to a source, Miss Guissepina has taken this decision because she feels the
comments by the C.O.O about her resignation are untrue and puts a dent on her
image in the public space. Miss Pina however is first seeking for out-of-court
settlement and wants Exclusive Events Ghana to come out and retract the
official statement, as well as some of the comments passed by the organizers on
different media platforms regarding the reasons she is no more the reigning
queen. If that proves futile, she will resort to legal action.
