A welfare
association has been set up for reggae and dancehall artistes in Ghana. Ghanaian
dancehall artistes like Shattawale, Kojo Kombolo, Iwan, Jupiter, Stonebwoy, Ras
Kuuku and others are behind the initiation of this association dubbed Dancehall
Artistes Welfare Association (D.A.W.A) for the reggae dance hall artistes in
their fraternity.
According to a source, one of the
members of the association, Kojo Kombolo hinted that DAWA is an association to
uplift the status and welfare of every Ghanaian dancehall artiste to be able to
stand out both musically and business-wise.
However, the full details of the
association is not yet out, and one executive of the association has assured to
provide the goddain.blogspot.com any information which will be available
