THE B.A.R CONCERT

A few months ago, hip-life/hiphop artiste E.L released a mixtape titled B.A.R. (Best African Rapper) the mixtape album received positive reviews in the Ghanaian hip-hop community. As part of promotion and bringing the mixtape closer to the fans, the BBNZ rapper will host a concert dubbed the B.A.R Concert.

Speaking to the Maxx Entertainment Crew on Radio Maxx 105.1FM in Takoradi, the “obuu mo” crooner said, it is basically a hip pop concert, so he’s focusing on all the relevant hip hop artistes in Ghana, both mainstream, upcoming and underground artistes.

The concert features about 30 hip pop artistes some of which are BBnz Boys, Gemini, Sarkodie, Ayibe Edem, Scientific, Joey B and more.

According to EL, the concert is meant to bring more hip hop artistes in to the limelight. It is therefore the first time Ghana is going to witness such an event of nonstop performances.

 EL hopefully said he knows the concert will be a successful one and regardless of the outcome, it is going to be organized annually. He also thanked the people of Takoradi for our supported and told us to watch out for him.

The B.A.R concert is coming on at the Alias Francais in Accra this Saturday, 19 July, 2014, time is 7pm Sharp. And fee is only 20 cedis.
